۱٤ – الْآخِرَةِ
(مَنَ كَانَ يُرِيْدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِيْ حَرْثِهِ وَ مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيْدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَ مَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ نَصِيْبٍ). ([efn_note]2. الشورى : ۲۰.[/efn_note]۲)
“Whoever desires the tillage of the Hereafter, We will enhance for him his tillage, and whoever desires the tillage of the world, We will give it to him, but he will have no share in the Hereafter.” (8[efn_note]8. Qur’an ٤۲:۲۰[/efn_note])
Allah Yang Maha Tinggi berfirman: “Barang siapa yang menghendaki keuntungan di akhirat, akan Kami tambah keuntungan itu baginya; dan barang siapa yang menghendaki keuntungan di dunia, Kami berikan kepadanya sebagian dari keuntungan dunia dan tidak ada baginya suatu bagian pun di akhirat.” (1[efn_note]1). ۳۱.الإمام عليٌّ عليه السلام :الدُّنْيَا مُنْيَةُ الْأَشْقِيَاءِ، الْآخِرَةُ فَوْزُ السُّعَدَاءِ .([efn_note]3. غرر الحكم : ٦۹٤ و ٦۹۵.[/efn_note]۳)
31). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘This life is the aspiration of the wretched, and the Hereafter is the victory of the fortunate.’ (9[efn_note]9. Ghurar al-Hikam, no. ۲۹٤-۲۹٥[/efn_note])

32). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Aim for the Hereafter and this world will submit to you in humility.’ (10[efn_note]10. Ibid. no. ٦۰۸۰[/efn_note])

۳۳.عنه عليه السلام :إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا مُنْقَطِعَةٌ عَنْكَ، وَ الْآخِرَةَ قَرِيْبَةٌ مِنْكَ. ([efn_note]5. نهج البلاغة : الكتاب ۳۲.[/efn_note]۵)
33). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘This world is turning away from you and the Hereafter is close to you.’ (11[efn_note]11. Nahj al-Balagha, Letter ۳۲[/efn_note])
33). Diriwayatkan dari Imām ‘Alī a.s.: “Sesungguhnya dunia menjauh darimu, sedangkan akhirat mendekat kepadamu.” (4[efn_note]4). Nahj-ul-Balāghah, surat ke-32.[/efn_note])
۱۵ – عَظَمَةُ مَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ
(انْظُرْ كَيْفَ فَضَّلْنا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَ لَلْآخِرَةُ أَكْبَرُ دَرَجَاتٍ وَ أَكْبَرُ تَفْضِيْلًا) .([efn_note]6. الإسراء : ۲۱.[/efn_note]٦)
“Observe how We have given some of them an advantage over some others; yet the Hereafter is surely greater in respect of ranks and greater in respect of relative merit.” (12[efn_note]12. Qur’an ۱۷:۲۱[/efn_note])
Allah Yang Maha Tinggi berfirman: “Perhatikanlah bagaimana Kami lebihkan sebagian dari mereka atas sebagian (yang lain). Dan pasti kehidupan akhirat lebih tinggi tingkatnya dan lebih besar keutamaannya.” (5[efn_note]5). QS. al-Isrā’ [17]: 21.[/efn_note])
۳٤.الْإِمَامُ عَلِيٌّ عليه السلام :كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَمَاعُهُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ عِيَانَهِ، وَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ عِيَانُهُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ سَمَاعِهِ، فَلْيَكْفِكُمْ مِنَ الْعِيَانِ السَّمَاعُ، وَ مِنَ الْغَيْبِ الْخَبَرُ .([efn_note]1. نهج البلاغة : الخطبة ۱۱٤.[/efn_note]۱)
34). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Every aspect of this world seems greater upon hearing than when it is seen, and every aspect of the Hereafter is greater when it will be seen than when it is heard about. So be satisfied with the hearing in lieu of the seeing and with the tale in lieu of the concealed. [regarding the Hereafter and the unseen you should be content with what you hear and you are informed of by the prophets].’ (8[efn_note]8. Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon ۱۱٤[/efn_note])

Imām ‘Alī a.s. berkata: “Apa yang didengar dari segala sesuatu di dunia lebih besar ketimbang apa yang dilihat, dan apa yang dilihat dari segala sesuatu di akhirat lebih besar ketimbang apa yang didengar. Oleh karena itu, cukuplah bagi kalian apa yang kalian lihat daripada apa yang kalian dengar, dan yang ghaib daripada berita (ya‘ni kehidupan akhirat lebih baik daripada kehidupan dunia).” (1[efn_note]1). ۱٦ – الْآخِرَةُ دَارُ الْقَرَارِ
(يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ وَ إِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ هِيَ دَارُ الْقَرَارِ). ([efn_note]2. غافر : ۳۹.[/efn_note]۲)
“O my people! This life of the world is only a [passing] enjoyment, and indeed the Hereafter is the abiding home.” (9[efn_note]9. Qur’an ٤۰:۳۹[/efn_note])
Allah Yang Maha Tinggi berfirman: “Hai kaumku, sesungguhnya kehidupan dunia ini hanyalah kesenangan (sementara) dan sesungguhnya akhirat itulah negeri yang kekal.” (2[efn_note]2). QS. Ghāfir [40]: 39[/efn_note])
۳٥.الْإِمَامُ عَلِيٌّ عليه السلام :مَنْ عَمَّرَ دَارَ إِقَامَتِهِ فَهُوَ الْعَاقِلُ. ([efn_note]3. غرر الحكم : ۸۲۹۸.[/efn_note]۳)
35). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘He who builds the home of his lasting residence is sensible.’ (10[efn_note]10. Ghurar al-Hikam, no. ۸۲۹۸[/efn_note])
35). Imām ‘Alī a.s. berkata: “Barang siapa membangun negeri kediamannya (ya‘ni akhirat), dia adalah orang yang bijaksana.” (3[efn_note]3). Ghurar-ul-Ḥikam.[/efn_note])
۳٦.عنه عليه السلام :الدُّنْيَا أَمَدٌ، الْآخِرَةُ أَبَدٌ .([efn_note]4. غرر الحكم : ٤.[/efn_note]٤)
36). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘This life is an epoch whilst the Hereafter is eternity.’ (11[efn_note]11. Ibid. no. ٤[/efn_note])

۱۷ – فَضْلُ الْآخِرَةِ
(قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيْلٌ وَ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى) .([efn_note]5. النساء : ۷۷.[/efn_note]٥)
“Say, ‘The enjoyment of this world is little and the Hereafter is better for the God wary” (12[efn_note]12. Qur’an ٤:۷۷[/efn_note])
Allah Yang Maha Tinggi berfirman: “Katakanlah di dunia ini hanya sebentar dan akhirat itu lebih baik untuk orang-orang yang bertaqwa.” (5[efn_note]5). QS. an-Nisa’ [4]: 77.[/efn_note])
۳۷.الْإِمَامُ عَلِيٌّ عليه السلام :لَيْسَ عَنِ الْآخِرَةِ عِوَضٌ، وَ لَيْسَتِ الدُّنْيَا لِلنَّفْسِ بِثَمَنٍ. ([efn_note]6. غرر الحكم : ۷٥۰۲.[/efn_note]٦)

۱۸ – ذِكْرُ الْآخِرَةِ
۳۸.الْإِمَامُ عَلِيٌّ عليه السلام :ذِكْرُ الْآخِرَةِ دَوَاءٌ وَ شِفَاءٌ، ذِكْرُ الدُّنْيَا أَدْوَأُ الْأَدْوَاءِ .([efn_note]7. غرر الحكم : ٥۱۷٥ و ٥۱۷٦.[/efn_note]۷)
38). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Remembrance of the Hereafter is a remedy and a cure, whilst remembrance of worldly life is the worst disease.’ (14[efn_note]14. Ibid. no. ٥۱۷٥-٥۱۷٦[/efn_note])
38). Imām ‘Alī a.s. berkata: “Mengingat akhirat merupakan obat dan kesembuhan, sedangkan mengingat dunia merupakan penyakit paling parah.” (7[efn_note]7). Ibid., hadits 5176.[/efn_note])
۳۹.عنه عليه السلام :مَنْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذِكْرِ الْآخِرَةِ قَلَّتْ مَعْصيْتُهُ .([efn_note]1. غرر الحكم : ۸۷٦۹.[/efn_note]۱)
39). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘He who increases his remembrance of the Hereafter disobeys [Allah] less often.’ (7[efn_note]7. Ghurar al-Hikam. no. ۸۷٦۹[/efn_note])

۱۹ – الْعَمَلُ لِلْآخِرَةِ
٤۰.رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه و آله :اِعْمَلْ لِدُنْيَاكَ كَأَنَّكَ تَعِيْشُ أَبَدًا، وَ اعْمَلْ لِآخِرَتِكَ كَأَنَّكَ تَمُوْتُ غَدًا .([efn_note]2. تنبيه الخواطر : ۲ / ۲۳٤.[/efn_note]۲)
40). The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Work for your life as though you will live forever, and work for the Hereafter as though you will die tomorrow.’ (8[efn_note]8.Tanbih al-Khawatir, v. ۲, no. ۲۳٤[/efn_note])
40). Rasūlullāh s.a.w. bersabda: “Bekerjalah untuk duniamu seakan-akan engkau bakal hidup selamanya, dan ber‘amalkanlah untuk akhiratmu seakan-akan engkau akan meninggal besok.” (2[efn_note]2). Tanbīh-ul-Khawāthir, jil. 2, hal. 234.[/efn_note])
٤۱.عنه صلى الله عليه و آله :مَنْ أَصبَحَ وَ أَمْسَى وَ الْآخِرَةُ أَكْبَرُ هَمِّهِ جَعَلَ اللهُ الْغِنَى فيْ قَلْبِهِ، وَ جَمَعَ لَهُ أَمْرَهُ، وَ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَسْتَكْمِلَ رِزْقَهُ. وَ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ وَ أَمْسَى وَ الدُّنْيَا أَكْبَرُ هَمِّهِ جَعَلَ اللهُ الْفَقْرَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ، وَ شتَّتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرَهُ، وَ لَمْ يَنَلْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَا قُسِمَ لَهُ .([efn_note]3. بحار الأنوار : ۷۷ / ۱٥۱ / ۱۰٤.[/efn_note]۳)

The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘He who makes the Hereafter his greatest concern when he wakes up and before he sleeps, Allah instills needlessness in his heart and mends his affairs for him; he will not depart from this life before having collected all his sustenance. But the one who makes this world his greatest concern in his life, Allah instils poverty between his eyes and disbands his affairs; he will not collect from this life more than what was allotted to him.’ (9[efn_note]9.Bihar al-Anwar, v. ۷۷, p. ۱٥۱, no. ۱۰٤[/efn_note])

Rasūlullāh s.a.w. bersabda: “Barang siapa menjalani hari-harinya, sedangkan perhatian terbesarnya adalah akhirat, niscaya Allah akan memasukkan kekayaan ke dalam hatinya dan menyatukan segala urusannya, dan dia tidak akan keluar dari dunia (meninggal dunia) sebelum mendapatkan rezekinya secara sempurna. Dan barang siapa menjalani hari-harinya, sedangkan perhatian terbesarnya adalah dunia, niscaya Allah memasukkan kemiskinan di hadapannya, mencerai-beraikan segala urusannya, dan dia tidak akan mendapatkan bagian dunia kecuali apa yang telah ditetapkan baginya.” (3[efn_note]3). ٤۲.الامام عليٌّ عليه السلام :لَا يَنْفَعُ الْعَمَلُ لِلْآخِرَةِ مَعَ الرَّغْبَةِ فِي الدُّنْيَا .([efn_note]3. بحار الأنوار : ۷۷ / ۱٥۱ / ۱۰٤.[/efn_note]٤)
42). Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Working for the Hereafter is of no benefit when it is coupled with the desire for this world.’ (10[efn_note]10.Ghurar al-Hikam, no. ۱۰۸۲۹[/efn_note])
42). Imām ‘Alī a.s. berkata: “Tiada manfaat suatu ‘amal untuk akhirat yang dibarengi dengan kecintaan kepada dunia.” (4[efn_note]4). Ghurar-ul-Ḥikam, hadits 10829.[/efn_note])
